Zi Collection, Page Position: Upper. Radical: Slash (piě). Character: fú. Kangxi Dictionary stroke count: 2. Page 81, row 7. According to the Broad Rimes (Guangyun), the fanqie pronunciation is fū and wù. According to the Collected Rimes (Jiyun), the fanqie pronunciation is fēn and wù, pronounced the same as fú. The Explaining Graphs and Analyzing Characters (Shuowen Jiezi) explains it as curving toward the left, and the character shape is a reversed piě. Also in the Collected Rimes, the fanqie pronunciation is lì and jié, pronounced the same as liè. The meaning is the same. Note: The Lexicon (Zihui) mistakenly describes piě as curving to the right instead of the left, and fú as curving to the left instead of the right; this is an error.
