As stated in the Explanation of Graphs (Shuowen), the mountain of Fengyu is located between Wu and Chu, the territory of the Wangmang clan. Xu says: According to the Discourses of Lu (Luyu), the Fangfeng clan were the protectors of Mount Fengyu.
Also, Yuyi is the place where the sun rises. As stated in the Book of Documents (Shangshu), Canon of Yao: He resided in Yuyi, called Yanggu. Also, the Tribute of Yu (Yugong) mentions: Yuyi was surveyed. The commentary notes: This is the territory of modern Dengzhou.
Also, a bend in a mountain is called a yu. As stated in the Mencius (Mengzi): A tiger stands with its back to a mountain bend.
Also, Zhi Dun, in his Poetry expressing one's feelings (Shuhuai shi), writes: Resting my shoulders, I perched on the southern mountain bend. It is interchangeable with the character meaning corner.
