Bamboo Manual (Zhupu): The bamboo nodes of the huang bamboo are dense and hard; the bamboo trunk is round and the texture is solid; the bamboo skin is white like frost powder. Large ones are suitable for shipbuilding, and small ones can be made into flutes. Shoot Manual (Sunpu): The shoots of the huang bamboo emerge in the eighth month; the shoot skin is blackish-purple and the core is full. It also refers to a bamboo grove.
