Annotation: Xu Xuan says that in the Zuo Tradition of the Spring and Autumn Annals (Chunqiu Zhuan), this character is used for reporting a death. The current common variant form (fu) is incorrect.
Zuo Tradition (Zuozhuan), Third Year of Duke Yin: On the gengxu day, a report was made.

Fu Xian, Ode to the Swallow (Yan Fu): When the next spring arrives, it flies back, feeling attachment and longing for its old home. Once it entrusts its life, it has no divided heart; how could it change its direction to go elsewhere.
