Exegesis of the Odes (Shigu): Removing the outer garment is called tixi.
Jade Chapters (Yupian): To undress and reveal the body. Also, a single-layered fur garment is called a tixi.
Book of Rites (Liji): Jade Regulations (Yuzao): The tixi worn over a fur garment is to show its beauty.
Commentary (Shu): An outer garment added over a fur coat is a tixi garment; although it is added, the other clothing remains open, revealing the beauty of the tixi garment to show respect.
