Guangyun (Dictionary of Broad Rhymes): Pronounced pao. Used when feet scratch the ground.
Lin'an Xinzhi (New Records of Lin'an): Chan Master Xingkong lived on Mount Daci and suffered from a lack of water. Suddenly, a divine being told him that water would arrive the next day. That night, two tigers used their feet to scratch the ground and dig holes, causing a spring to gush forth; thus it is called the Tiger Running Spring (Hupao Quan).
Also, Guangyun: Pronounced bao. In the region of Qin, people call kicking or stomping run.
Boya (Broad Refinements): This is the same as the word meaning to leap or jump (bao).
Also, Jiyun (Compilation of Rhymes): Pronounced pu. The meaning is the same.
