Pronounced li.
In the Shuowen Jiezi (Shuowen), it means to dredge. Another definition is water dripping down. In the Rhapsody on the Lingguang Hall of Lu (Lu Lingguang dian fu) by Wang Yanshou: To drip and make a sound.
Also, the last drops of wine are called li. In the Records of the Grand Historian (Shiji), Biographies of the Jesters: At times bestowed with the remaining drops.
Also liyue, a slight flow. In the Rhapsody on Thought (Si fu) by Zhang Heng: Rinsing with the flowing drops of the flying spring.
Also xili, the sound of rain or snow. In the Rhapsody on Snow (Xue fu) by Xie Huilian: Sleet falls with a xili sound and begins to gather.
