According to the History of the Former Han Dynasty (Qian Han Shu), Biography of Kuai Tong: Kuai Tong discussed the flexible strategies of the persuasive orators of the Warring States period and wrote a preface for his own work, totaling eighty-one chapters, entitled Juanyong. The commentary notes that this character refers to fatty meat, meaning that his arguments are as rich, sweet, and meaningful as fat, delicious meat.

According to the History of the Former Han Dynasty (Qian Han Shu), Treatise on Geography: Changsha State, Xiajun County.
