Collected Rhymes (Jiyun): Pronounced zhi. The three-walled section of a city rampart. Also, from Yangzi: Great Mystery (Taixuanjing): Stilled yellow dust, mat of gold slips. Commentary: In the ancestral temple there are yellow zhi and gold slips; the word for dust is sometimes written as zhi. In the Zuo Tradition (Zuo Zhuan), it is written as zhi.
