According to the Collected Rhymes (Jiyun), the pronunciation follows the fanqie of the characters lú and kūn, and it is pronounced lùn. It means order and sequence, or the appearance of something being gathered and rolled into an orderly bundle. It also refers to Mount Kunlun (Kunlunshan), being identical to the standard characters for Kūnlún. This is found in the History of the Han Dynasty (Hanshu), Geographical Treatise. Additionally, the Classic of Mountains and Seas (Shanhaijing) mentions a mountain named Lunzhe. It is also the name of a deity. The Classic of Mountains and Seas records that on Huaijiang Mountain, the spirit Huaigui Lilun resides there. Note: Lilun is the name of the deity. Furthermore, any object that is round and whole is called kunlun, and that which is round and has not been split or dispersed is called hunlun. These were originally written using this character lun.
