Broad Rime (Guangyun): Described as Gǒulǒu, referring to Mount Heng. In Hengzhou, there is Gǒulǒu Peak, where the Stele of the Divine Yu is located.
Extensive Record of the World (Guangyuji): Yu offered sacrifices at Mount Heng and dreamed of the Azure Water Messenger, who presented him with golden and jade tablets here. Today, the inscriptions on the Yu Stele are all in tadpole script.
Han Yu, Poem on Mount Goulou: The peak of Mount Goulou holds the Stele of the Divine Yu, its characters are green, its stone is red, and its form is strange.
Song dynasty, Fang Zhu, Poem on Stone Drums: The insect-like scripts and bird-like seal scripts are unrecognizable, just like reading the Stele of the Divine Yu on Mount Goulou.
