The term fǎngfú refers to a blurred or indistinct appearance. "Indistinct as if in a dream" — Rhapsody on the Ganquan Palace (Ganquan Fu) by Yang Xiong. It is also written as pángfú, fǎngfú, fāngfú, fàngfú, fú, fàng, or huǎngchū, with the pronunciation and meaning being identical across all forms.
