Yunhui: This is a place name. In ancient times, it belonged to Qing Province (Qīngzhōu). During the Zhou dynasty, it belonged to the State of Ji (Jǐ), and was later incorporated into the State of Qi (Qí).
Spring and Autumn Annals (Chūnqiū), Duke Zhuang, Year 1: The Qi army moved the three cities of Píng, Zī, and Wú belonging to the State of Ji.
Commentary: To the west of Duchang County (Dūchāng), Beihai Commandery (Běihǎi Jùn), there is Zi City (Zī Chéng), which is this Zi (鄑) City. For details, refer to the commentary for the character Wu (郚) above.
Also, Jiyun: This is a place between the State of Song (Sòng) and the State of Lu (Lǔ).
Spring and Autumn Annals, Duke Zhuang, Year 11: Duke Lu defeated the Song army in Zi (鄑).

Shuowen Jiezi: Written as a certain character (𨙸). The clerical script form is 鄑. Incorrectly written as a certain character (𨙰). The vulgar form is 鄑, which is incorrect.
