Si Collection, Upper Volume Radical: Water (shuǐ) Lu Kangxi strokes: 20 Page 659, Entry 12 Pronounced lu. A river name, originating in Zangge. Also called Bitter Water. In the Commentary on the Classic of Water (Shuijing Zhu), it is noted that the Jin Water flows north into the Lujin Water. According to the Record of Yizhou (Yizhou Ji), the Lu River originates in Quluo and flows downward to join various other waters, collectively known as the Lu River. Also a prefecture name. According to the Record of Comprehensive Geography (Guangyu Ji), it was originally the territory of the Ba state, and during the Liang dynasty, it was called Luzhou.
