According to "Jiyun" and "Yunhui," the pronunciation is "qie ye qie," which sounds the same as 訐 (jié). It means to forcibly seize. "Zengyun" explains it as to snatch or plunder. In Zuo Si's "Wu Du Fu," there is usage such as "刦剞熊羆之室" (jié yī xióng pí zhī shì). Furthermore, "Zhengyun" explains it as to coerce or control. In Xunzi's "Xiu Shen Pian," there is usage such as "刦之以师友" (jié zhī yǐ shī yǒu). "Yunhui" also states that 劫 (jié) and 刦 (jié) can be used interchangeably.
