As cited in the Biography of Han Xin from the History of the Former Han (Qianhan Shu): The various generals were all wú-rán, feigning a response by saying yes. Commentary: Meng Kang states: Wú is pronounced fǔ, meaning not sharp or clear. Also, Gathering of Rhymes (Jiyun): Pronounced wǔ. Meaning is the same.
