Yupian (Yupian): Guangya (Guangya) states: Shuban, refers to a court official's tablet. Sometimes written in a variant form (tu).
Book of Rites (Liji), section on Jade Ornaments (Yuzao): The court tablets of the feudal lords are fashioned with the front tapered and the back straight. Commentary: Tapered means the head is rounded off and not made into a blunt or club-like shape. For the feudal lords, they only yield or bend the shape before the Son of Heaven, and the portion yielded is at the front.
Also Yupian: Beautiful jade.
