The History of Tang (Tangshu), Biography of Li Mi, states: Jia Runfu admonished Mi, saying: If you take from the stores without restraint, the granaries and storehouses will eventually be exhausted. If the grain is depleted and the people are scattered, what will you rely upon to achieve success?
Also, in the Western Expedition Rhapsody (Xizheng Fu) by Pan Yue: To let one's longings extend into the distance, as if moving in a circle without end.
Also, in the Vimalakirti Sutra (Weimojing): The rice in the bowl was sufficient to satisfy the entire assembly, yet it remained without end.
