Pronounced she (falling tone).
In Literary Expositor (Erya), section on trees: She is defined as tiger creeper. Also, regarding the phrase feng she she, see the annotation under the character for maple.
In Zhengzitong: The annotation for maple states that the character she used in the phrase feng she she and the character she in the term for tiger creeper, though identical, refer to different species. One grows as a tree, the other as a vine. The Orthodox Rhymes (Zhengyun) incorrectly includes the tiger creeper entry under the annotation for maple.
Also, in Guangya: She means a staff.
Also, pronounced she (falling tone).
