Explaining Graphs and Analyzing Characters (Shuowen): Timely rain that moistens and nourishes all living things. It is also used to mean to moisten, nourish, or cultivate.
Sima Xiangru, Difficulties of the Elders of Shu (Nan Shu Fulao Wen): The masses receive nourishment.
Also the same as the character for pour. Refers to water flowing or being poured.
Wang Bao, Rhapsody on the Bamboo Flute (Dongxiao Fu): The sound is grand and pours into the deep abyss.
