In the Book of Zuo (Zuo Zhuan), Duke Cheng, Year 3, it says: "The feudal lords attacked Zheng. Prince Yan led the army to resist them and sent troops from the eastern border to cover them at Màn." The commentary notes: "Màn is a place in Zheng." Also, from the Jiyun Dictionary, Yunhui Dictionary, and Zhengyun Dictionary: Pronounced mǎn. Further, from the Jiyun Dictionary: Pronounced màn.
