According to the Analytical Dictionary of Characters (Shuowen), it means to possess both.
According to the General Guide to Characters (Zhengzitong), in the History of the Han Dynasty (Hanshu), it is used for hoarding goods; modern editions use the character for basket (long) instead.
Also, according to the Jade Chapters (Yupian), it refers to a harness for a horse.
According to the Dictionary of Characters (Zihui), it refers to horse trappings.
