Zuo Tradition (Zuo Zhuan), 32nd Year of Duke Zhuang: Originally, Duke Zhuang of Lu built a terrace near the house of the Dang family. Seeing Meng Ren, he followed her, but Meng Ren closed the door and would not admit him. The commentary notes: Bi means not to follow the Duke.
