[Zeng Yun] Means to discriminate. [Book of Rites - Qu Li] "The sun and moon inform the lord, to strengthen their distinction." [Erya - Shi Shan] "Small mountains separate large mountains, called xiān." [Note] Refers to small mountains not being connected to large mountains, called xiān.
