Guangyun, Jiyun, Yunhui, and Zhengyun: Pronounced zhuo.
Guangya: To lodge a complaint, to reproach, to slander, to disparage.
Yangzi Fangyan: In the regions south of Chu, to complain is called zhuo.
Qu Yuan, Li Sao: The many women were jealous of my moth-eyebrows, they spread slanderous rumors and accused me of being promiscuous.
Commentary: Rumors mean defamation. Zhuo is like slander.
Yuan Bao Jing: Slander is added to deception. The commentary says: To suffer from calumny and destruction.
Han Yu, Naliang Lianju: Clumsy schemes harm clever slander.
Also, Yunhui Xiaobu: Used interchangeably with the character meaning to strike. Citing the Zuo Zhuan (Zuozhuan), Year 17 of Duke Ai: Also caused one to strike it; the commentary says: To lodge a complaint.
