In the Western Capital Rhapsody (Xijing Fu) by Zhang Heng: Rushing through narrow paths, performing the swallow dip, thrusting the chest forward to meet sharp blades. Note: The swallow dip refers to placing a basin of water in front of a performer, who sits behind it, then leaps forward with outstretched arms, striking the ground rhythmically with their feet, crossing over the water, and returning to a seated position, mimicking the movements of a swallow bathing at the water's edge.
