According to Jiyun (Jíyùn) and Zhengyun (Zhèngyùn), pronounced yú jīn qiē, sound yín. According to Shuowen (Shuōwén Jiězì), it is the name of Huìjī County. According to the Book of the Later Han (Hòu Hànshū), Treatise on Commandaries and Kingdoms (Jùn Guó Zhì), Yín was the former administrative seat of Zhāng'ān, a Mǐnyuè territory, renamed by Emperor Guangwu. The commentary states: Originally Huípǔ Township, south of Yín County, established in the first year of Zhanghe during Emperor Zhang's reign. Also, according to the commentary on the Annals of Emperor Shun, the old city of Yín was southeast of Mào County. Also, according to Tangyun (Tángyùn), pronounced yǔ jīn qiē. According to Yunhui (Yùnhuì), pronounced yí jīn qiē, sound yín. The meaning is the same.
