According to the Shuowen Jiezi, xu is composed of the radical for tapping and the component for remainder. The Wujing Wenzi (Text of the Five Classics) writes it as the form that is categorized under the radical for again, which is incorrect. The Zhengzitong follows the opinion of Zhou Boqi, writing it with the radical for tapping and the component for remainder. We now follow the Shuowen Jiezi and have corrected it accordingly.
