Pronounced jun (falling tone). A type of tree. Another interpretation suggests it refers to lush, flourishing trees. Xu Xuan states it can also be read as suosuo, pronounced suo (level tone).
Correct Rhymes (Zhengyun): Pronounced suo (level tone). A component of a weaving loom used to carry the weft thread.
Biography of Tao Kan (Jin Shu): When Tao Kan was young and fishing in Leize, he caught a shuttle in his net and hung it on the wall. When a thunderstorm suddenly arrived, the shuttle transformed into a dragon and flew away. Originally written with a variant form (variant form), and another variant form (variant form), it is now written as 梭.
