According to the Sound Compendium (Jiyun) and the Classified Character Dictionary (Leipian), the pronunciation is quan (rising tone). Quanwu is the name of a mountain. According to the Sound Compendium (Jiyun), it is located northeast of Bairen City.
According to the Family Instructions of Master Yan (Yanshi Jiaxun), there is a mountain northeast of Bairen City which some call Xuanwu Mountain, the origin of which is unknown. Upon reading the inscription inside the city's west gate, it states that there is a Quanwu Mountain here, the place where Wang Qiao attained immortality, only then was it understood that the mountain commonly called Xuanwu is in fact Quanwu Mountain.
Additionally, according to the Jade Dictionary (Yupian), it is pronounced guan (falling tone). According to the Sound Compendium (Jiyun) and the Classified Character Dictionary (Leipian), it is pronounced guan (falling tone). It is the name of a mountain.

According to the original texts of the Sound Compendium and the Classified Character Dictionary, this has been corrected to reflect that both sources cite the pronunciation as quan (rising tone). In the Family Instructions of Master Yan (Yanshi Jiaxun), there is a mountain northeast of Bairen City which some call Xuanwu Mountain, the origin of which is unknown; upon reading the inscription west of the city, it mentions the mountain is Quanwu Mountain, where Wang Qiao attained immortality. The text has been corrected to Xuanwu Mountain in accordance with the original. Two characters have been added after the mention of the city's west gate.
