In the Expanded Rhymes (Guangyun), the fanqie (syllabic fusion) is gǔ-yuè. In the Collected Rhymes (Jiyun), the Rhyme Assembly (Yunhui), and the Correct Rhymes (Zhengyun), the fanqie is qì-yuè. The pronunciation is jué. In the Expanded Rhymes, it is noted as being the same as the character jué. In the Correct Rhymes, it is defined as two pieces of jade joined together. "The Duke interceded for him and presented jade to the King and the Marquis of Jin, ten pairs of jade each" — Commentary of Zuo (Zuozhuan). The annotation explains: A pair of jades is called a jué. Also, in the Expanded Rhymes and the Rhyme Assembly, it is given the fanqie gǔ-lù, pronounced gǔ. The meaning is the same. Furthermore, in the Expanded Rhymes, it is listed as the name of a type of jade. Same as the above.
