Classic of Mountains and Seas (Shanhaijing): On the mountain of Wulin, there is much Jian grass.
Annals of Wu and Yue (Wuyue Chunqiu): When my master forged the metal, the husband and wife entered the smelting furnace. Later generations wore hemp mourning bands and Jian-grass garments, and only then dared to cast.
Also a mountain name. Classic of Mountains and Seas (Shanhaijing): One hundred and twenty li to the west of Kunwu Mountain is Jian Mountain, from which the Jian River flows.
Textual research: In the Annals of Wu and Yue (Wuyue Chunqiu), it is stated that Gan Jiang was casting a sword, and the husband and wife entered the smelting furnace. Later generations wore hemp mourning bands and Jian-grass garments, and only then dared to cast. We have corrected the original text from my master forged the metal to Gan Jiang was casting a sword. The text hemp classics has been corrected to hemp mourning bands.
