According to Broad Rhymes (Guangyun) and Collection of Rhymes (Yunhui), it is pronounced hui (falling tone). According to Collected Rhymes (Jiyun), it is pronounced hui (falling tone). The pronunciation is the same as the word for beak.
Broad Rhymes (Guangyun) defines it as cheek. Collection of Rhymes (Jiyun) defines it as the beard on the chin. Another source states that the cheek is referred to as hui. It is also written in a variant form (yue).
