In the fifth year of Duke Yin from Zuo Tradition (Zuozhuan), it is recorded: "The forces of Wei entered Chéng." Note: Southwest of Kangfu County (kàngfù xiàn) in Dongping (dōngpíng), there was Chéngxiang (chéngxiāng), which later belonged to the state of Lu and was a fiefdom of the Meng clan. 2. Also a place name. In the eleventh year of Duke Yin from Zuo Tradition (Zuozhuan), it is recorded: "The King and the people of Zheng hunted in the Wen Plain (wēnyuán) and Xíchéng (xíchéng)." Note: Xíchéng is southwest of Huai County (huái xiàn).
