Also, according to the Common Explanations (Tongsuwen), it is a garment three feet in length.
In the Tang dynasty work, Virtuous Governance of Magistrate Liu of Gaoling by Liu Yuxi: The many laborers cheered, took off their bo garments, and began to dance.
Also, from the Supplement to the Pronunciation of the Discourses of the States (Guoyu Buyin): Bo-man refers to a type of clothing. It is identical to the character bo.
Textual research: In the Book of Master Guan, Middle Rectitude Chapter, it mentions wearing a bo-shi. Following the original text, Middle Rectitude has been corrected to Small Rectitude. Furthermore, in the commentary to the Discourses of the States, bo-man refers to clothing and is identical to the character bo. Note that both citations originate from the Supplement to the Pronunciation of the Discourses of the States; the citation source has been corrected from Commentary to Supplement to the Pronunciation.
