It is the same as the character biex. In the Book of Evaluation of Standard Characters (Ganlu Zishu), the character bie is commonly used as a variant for biex. In the Book of Changes (Yijing), section on the Discussion of Trigrams (Shuogua), it states that the Li trigram represents the bie.
