Wei Collection, Middle Volume Radical: Silk (mì) Zuan Kangxi stroke count: 25 Page 944, Entry 25 According to Extensive Rhymes (Guangyun) and Correct Rhymes (Zhengyun), pronounced zuan. According to Collected Rhymes (Jiyun) and Rhyme Anthology (Yunhui), pronounced zuan. According to Explaining Graphs and Analyzing Characters (Shuowen), it means to continue. In the Classic of History (Shangshu), section Zhonghui's Announcement (Zhonghui zhi gao): To continue the old service of Yu. The commentary states: To continue the achievements of Yu and govern his former territories. In the Classic of Poetry (Shijing), section Odes of Bin (Bin feng): Thereupon continuing his military achievements. The commentary states: Zuan means to continue.
