Commentary: "Ant" is a general term. Larger ones are specifically called pifu, and are commonly called ma pifu. Smaller ones are called yi. People in Qi call ants yiyang. "Fangyan" says pifu. Between Qi and Lu, they are called gou qiong. Between the southwest and Liang and Yi, they are called yuan gou. Yan calls them e yang. Their nests are called di, or sometimes die.
