Pronounced xuan. According to the Tangyun (Tang rhyme dictionary) and the Jiyun (Collected rhymes), it is pronounced the same as the word for rotate (xuan). The Shuowen Jiezi (Explaining graphs and analyzing characters) defines this as a round table. The Guangyun (Broad rhymes) defines it as a tray for holding food.
Also, pronounced xun. According to the Tangyun and the Jiyun, it is pronounced the same as the word for a fragrant herb (xun). The meaning is the same.
Also, pronounced xuan (falling tone). According to the Jiyun and the Leipian (Categorized chapters), one definition is to turn a spindle using a rope. Another definition is to process wood to create implements.
