According to the Literary Expositor (Erya), in the section explaining birds, it states that the bird is a turtledove, also known as a kestrel-dove. The commentary by Guo Pu notes that it resembles a mountain magpie but is smaller. Additionally, according to the Collected Rhymes (Jiyun), the pronunciation is qu.
