Name of a mountain.
Classic of Mountains and Seas (Shanhaijing): Lai Mountain is where the Jiang River originates; it flows east into the Great River, and there is much gold on the south side of the mountain.
Annotation: Anglai Mountain, currently located south of Yandao County in Hanjia, is the source of the Jiang River; there is a slope with nine turns on the mountain.
Also, Guo Pu, River Rhapsody (Jiangfu): The source divides into two branches from Ju Mountain and Lai Mountain, and divides into nine tributaries at Xunyang.
Annotation: One hundred and forty li northeast of Min Mountain is Lai Mountain, and one hundred and fifty li further east is Ju Mountain. Lai Mountain is the source of the Central Jiang River, and Ju Mountain is the source of the North Jiang River; starting from Xunyang in Lujiang, they divide into nine tributaries.
