According to the Expanded Rhymes (Zengyun), it means to stir. As mentioned in the Book of Odes (Shijing), Xiaoya section: It only disturbs my heart. Also, according to the Broad Rhymes (Guangyun), it means to move with the hands. As noted in the poetry of Fang Yue: Searching through and stirring up the five cartloads of books collected throughout my life. Sometimes written in a variant form (hu).
