Jiyun: Chronic illness.
Shiming: Jiu means long-lasting. It dwells within the body.
Book of Changes (Yijing), Lu Hexagram: To tread upon the imperial throne without remorse, this is brilliance.
Sub-commentary: To be able to occupy the imperial throne through firm centrality, without having any illness or fault, is due to the brilliance of one's virtue.
Book of Odes (Shijing), Minor Odes: The sorrowful heart is deeply pained.
Commentary: Jiu means illness.

History of the Former Han Dynasty (Qian Hanshu), Narrative Treatise: The riches of Anchang were accumulated, Zhu Yun acted with contempt. Boshan was pure and cautious, yet suffered the afflictions of Mang. Qi is pronounced qi.
