Name of a city in the state of Lu. "Shusun Zhouchou and Zhongsun Heji led troops to besiege the territory of Hou." — Spring and Autumn Annals (Chunqiu), Duke Ding, Year 10.
Annotation: This was the fief of the Shusun clan.
Also used as a surname. "Guang Yun" records that Hou Zhaobo was a high official in the state of Lu. Hou Chang lived during the Later Han dynasty.
