In "Tang Yun" and "Zhengyun", the pronunciation is given as hú kǒu qiè, and in "Jiyun" and "Yunhui", the pronunciation is given as hěn kǒu qiè, read with the rising tone.
"Shuowen Jiezi" explains it as the thickness and weight of mountains and hills.
"Yupian" explains it as not thin, and heavy.
"Yi Guang" mentions that vastness and thickness are in harmony with heaven and earth.
Also, in "Zhan Guo Ce", it is said that it is not possible to achieve a great victory.
Note: Thick, means great.
Also, "Zeng Yun" explains it as strong or intense.
Also, "Guangyun" records it as a surname, originating from "Xing Yuan".
Also, in posthumous titles, clear and correct deliberation is called thick.
