Commentary: This is Duheng, which resembles mallow and has a fragrant scent.
Tang Materia Medica (Tang bencao) Commentary: Duheng, the leaves resemble mallow and the shape is like a horse hoof, which is why it is commonly called horse hoof fragrance.
Qu Yuan, Encountering Sorrow (Lisao): Mixed with Duheng and fragrant angelica. All are written as Heng.
