Guangyun: Pronounced guan. Jiyun, Yunhui, and Zhengyun: Pronounced guan.
Yupian: A carriage implement.
Book of Etiquette and Ceremonial (Yili): In the section concerning the rites for the period after death, it refers to a wooden guan. The commentary explains that carriage guan are usually made of metal, but those used for funerals are made of wood.
Shuwen: Guan is pronounced guan.
Zhengyun: Identical to the variant form guan.
Mencius (Mengzi): In the preface, it mentions the guan and xia of the Five Classics.
Guangyun and Jiyun: Pronounced guan. The meaning is the same.
Zilin: An agricultural implement.
Erya: In the commentary on the explanation of music, it states that a guan is an agricultural implement. South of the Yangtze River, a plow blade is called a guan.
