Pronounced cuò. The meaning is an improper posture when performing a ritual salute. Another account states that it refers to a kneeling bow where the knees do not fully touch the ground. This is similar to the account in the Book of Rites (Liji), which states that those wearing armor do not perform a standard kneeling bow, because their version of the bow is actually a cuò (an improper kneeling bow), which refers to this specific situation. Also, pronounced zhà according to the Collected Rhymes (Jiyun), with the same meaning. Furthermore, according to the Ancient and Modern Supplement (Gujin Fulu), contemporary people use this term to describe the shape of clothing that is stretched open or puffed out.
