Zuo Commentary (Zuozhuan), Year 18 of Duke Xiang: Meng Zhuangzi cut down his shun tree to make a zither for the Duke. Note: Shun is the same as chun, a material for zithers. Lei Bian: Chun, shun, and chun are the same. Also written as xun. Textual Research: Zuo Commentary (Zuozhuan), Year 17 of Duke Xiang: Meng Zhuangzi cut down his shun tree to make a zither for the Duke.
