According to the Expanded Rhymes (Guangyun), it is pronounced chuo. According to the Collected Rhymes (Jiyun), the Rhyme Anthology (Yunhui), and the Correct Rhymes (Zhengyun), it is pronounced chuo.
According to the Explaining Graphs and Analyzing Characters (Shuowen), zhuo is sometimes written in the simplified form chuo. It means to be loose or relaxed.
